Review of The Piano Teacher (2001) by Marina R — 07 Aug 2007
The synopsis says it all. It is sad that this movie could never receive an audience of any notable size in the US. We, like Erika, are consigned to a prison of our our own culture-driven fear of discomfort.
You think Erika is unique? Don't. Under the right circumstances, we are all capable of letting our own desires and obsessions destroy us.
