Review of The Little Traitor (2009) by Ray H — 07 May 2010
A modest little film; competently done. This is partly a coming-of-age story in Palestine, 1947; under British occupation. A friendship develops between an 11 yr old jewish boy & a British soldier. The boy is just adequate; and a bit lacking in some scenes. Alfred Molina, as the soldier, does a charming, competent turn here. There is no great theme being explored here. No great drama is played out.
Mildly interesting; no need for a big screen. An OK DVD rental.
