Review of The Intruder (1962) by Andrzej B — 04 Oct 2007
I have long maintained that Roger Corman was a good -- occasionally great -- director, and William Shatner (pre-Denny Crane) was a good -- occasionally great -- actor. This film, for all its heavy-handedness and awkward plotting, proves me right.
This is an extremely difficult film to watch. It should be required viewing in high schools. This is a part of our history that is painful to remember but too painful to forget.
