Review of The Home Song Stories (2007) by Erica L — 23 May 2008
It was painful to watch. Maybe its because of my own mother issues, which run deep and from which I try to extricate myself. I spent most of the movie tense and unsympathetic towards the mother character.
It also made me sad to see how human being replicate issues generations back and pass it on to their offspring simply because they themselves are too ill-equipped and unprepared for life.
