Review of The Hedgehog (2009) by Ray T — 22 May 2010
A wonderful film about the superficiality of much of the human condition as we watch this very serious precocious young girl who will have none of it until she gets to know her building maintenance person and an elderly widowed Japanese man.
There are undercurrents of Leo Tolstoy, Junichiro Tanizaki and Yasujiro Ozu that permeate this examination of life.
