Review of Starry Eyes (2014) by Matt W — 23 Nov 2014
Low budget independent film making good as it should be. A young girl knows she can make it as an actress and will go to any lengths to make that dream a reality. and isn't it dine in some style. With the weirdness of Lynch the Body Horror of Cronenberg and the Born Again feeling of Martyrs this film has to be one of the best of the year in its genre. Psychological horror is at the forefront here but the pinultimate finale will leave you gasping.
Brilliant memorable and compulsive viewing.
