I like riddles. I like difficult subtext. I watch movies and read with an eye for the unspoken details and those little comments that get missed, but which the whole of a story needs to make sense. Southland Tales is chock full of this.
Not a casual movie and not easily categorized...so of course, I loved it. ;).
