Review of Soldier's Girl (2003) by Angelina C — 23 Jun 2011
If it flowed in the main - stream movie line, it would have won a couple, or few Oscars, given that all are just judges in conjuration. The flaws are noticeable, sometimes it even alters the emotional or 'authenticity' current, yet, it is also easy to overlook, for the life of the narrative is immensely pristine.
.. it felt raw and honest, simple not sugar - coated, the actors beautifully acted their role, maybe knowing how much the lead character meant for the real world, especially to the community, and in this case particularly to persons with suppressed homosexual identities.
