Pierce Brosnan puts in a career defining performance as the tormented man on the run, while Liam Neeson's twisted struggle for retribution against Him stretches across the many harsh environments of the old west.
It ends in a suprising finale of spiritual reckoning which, the more I think about it, is a suitable curtain fall on an awesome modern telling of an old tale.
