Review of Prince Valiant (1997) by Martin B — 04 Jul 2011

Anglo-Germanic version of the boy-room favourite since 1937. Some scenes are actually progressing straight from comic strips in to real movie scenes.

Haven't read the books in 30 years or so, I was surprised to be familar with much of the on-goings, but I of course don't remember Valiant being so Xena-like.

Pretty confusing here and there and with the lack of an believble villain, it's still pretty fun to meet Valiant again. But you do miiss the other knights of the round table and their stubborn wisdom.
