Its rare that I give a movie 5stars but this is one that I cannot find any fault with. Every scene was acted out just the way I anticipated. The script was excellent and the actors did the movie justice.
Some points I really enjoyed ... when she got the strap on she threw it away because it didnt seem right at the time. It was all about curiosity and finding what ur comfortable with. Her best friend being jealous that she found a girl who.. took her for a ride and was just bi-curious therefore breaking her heart. Her best friend was also in love with her... This movie had soo much goin on with her friend and the parents and how the black community view homosexuality.
My fav part .. in the ending with the mother she loves her daughter but didnt compromise on her values and walked away with her bible.
EVERYONE needs to fit in somewhere, somehow... its just how.
