Review of Norma Rae (1979) by Sarah A — 06 Dec 2008
Sally Field decides to stand up and fight against the authorities of the factory. The highlight of the film, an empowering scene, is when she suddenly stands at the top of a table, holding paper with the word "union" written on it and when all of the workers suddenly stop the work they're doing and turn off all the machines.
This film shows the great advantages of being in a union and the immense power we are all capable of when rebelling against the unfair authorities.
