Excellent film by the reliable Louis Malle. This coming-of-age film deals with sexuality in a tender and touching way no matter how taboo it gets; a nice contrast to the plethora of American films that are filled with juvenile antics and little more.
Set to a fine jazz score, Murmur of the Heart is a real winner.
