Review of Motorama (1991) by Charles T — 12 Jun 2007
Definitely a strange little odyssey. A ten-year-old delinquent (played by Jordan Christopher Michael) steals a car and hits the road seeking fame and fortune via a game called Motorama, sponsored by a gas company.
On the way, he runs into characters played by the likes of Meat Loaf, Flea, Robert Picardo, John Diehl, Garrett Morris, Michael J. Pollard, Susan Tyrell, Jack Nance, Mary Woronov, Dick Miller, Allyce Beasley, and Drew Barrymore.
Entertaining, but not for all tastes. Originally premiered at the Toronto Film Festival in September 1991.
