Review of Metropolitan (1990) by Mark L — 26 Dec 2011
Someone mentioned to me the other day that this is, kind of, a Christmas film, and as such it immediately goes right to the top of my Christmas film list. Like Roger Ebert put it, even though these people are recognisable, their social lives are as alien to you or I as if they'd been Amazon tribespeople.
A brilliant brilliant film.
