This is one of my most favorite movies. Marion Cotillard captures Edith Piaf's true essence. It's as if Piaf reincarnated into her as she was filming. The shots are perfect, the music beautiful, the story heart-wrenchingly tragic.
I LOVE Edith Piaf - the movie gives her the respect and the honor she deserves not only as an artist but as a human being. The cast is beautifully cast with phenomenal acting. Cotillard DESERVES her Oscar! Life is La vie en rose.
