Review of Kwaidan (1965) by Pavandeep S — 15 Dec 2008
If any of you all watch this film, watch it for the ending, literally chills you to see that. Horror movie spook you in many ways, this one did it in the most intriguing. I loved the awesome sets, expressionistic and layered, Japanese traditions inlaid with a new medium, also, the camera, moves like the audience, its pace moves as per the curiosity of the audience and so, it is exploratory and yet naive, like a human being, filling us with fright, due to our insatiable thirst, so to speak.
