Review of Kamikaze Girls (2004) by Hugh J — 28 Mar 2008
One of the first modern films in a long time to become one of my top 5 films. The story is a little cliche about to girls from different worlds becoming friends but thats where the cliches end. The films nature is almost experimental in a way in the way that it is shot; using a multitude of techniques and progression of the story itself.
Both actresses play their parts beautifully, and the chemistry between the two really feels real. I haven't had one person I recommended this movie to that hasn't liked it. Watch this movie now!
