Review of Hooked on You (2007) by Michelle K — 01 Jan 2011
A hybrid of fictional love story plus some Hong Kong's contemporary native scenario & hot topic. The latter is potential to be further developed or better mingled, however the script seems to be more interested exploring the former.
Nothing really new about the concept as which had already been much better executed in Sandra Ng's < Golden Chicken > series. Eason Chan is stably good in acting; while Miriam Yeung had been improving but still below average in terms of acting.
Instead, it was thrilling seeing Fung Shui-Fan returned back on the big silver screen.
