Review of Hell House (2001) by Laurie B — 01 Nov 2008
Amazing that this actually takes place. Must be seen to be believed. Very well done by the filmmakers in taking a passive point of view and letting the events play out as they really would. Especially eye-opening is the 'hard sell' at the end of the Hell House tour, when the minister attempts to convert individuals by using their fear and heightened emotions to lead them 'on the path to god'.
Terrifying in its own right.
