Review of Harlan County U.S.A. (1977) by Anonymous User — 08 Jun 2011
Unfolds and has the aesthetic feel of a narrative drama than a gritty documentary about the year-plus Kentucky coal miners strike in the 70's. The footage on here is truly extraordinary and the story is told in the perspective of the miners and their families with no intervention from the director, which is done so so so so well.
See it.
