Review of First Reformed (2018) by Griffin E — 27 Jun 2018
This is a really powerful film about a life-shattering loss of self-confidence and of faith. I do wish that the character of Michael had been included in more of the film because the one dialogue between him and the main character, Toller, was very compelling.
I also liked how Toller's narration would sometimes break in to comment on ongoing dialogue between multiple people.
