Review of Eraserhead (1977) by Paul T — 16 Feb 2010
Eraserhead is either a movie you think is completely brilliant, or a movie you don't quite understand. This widely regarded masterpiece from director David Lynch is not only thought-provoking and beautiful, but completely terrifying at the same time.
I cannot praise this movie enough. The cinematography is amazing, the score is amazing, it is just simply a perfectly made movie.
There are just so many images in this film that will stay with you for a long time. The woman singing in the radiator will haunt me for years to come. If you have yet to see this, I believe you need two qualities, patience and an open-mind.
