Review of Elevator to the Gallows (1958) by Benjamin W — 27 Apr 2008
This is one of my all time favorite films. I love the women in the french new wave films they are all gorgeous and incredibly sexy. Every character seems to have a great sense of fashion and sophistication while Jazz artists like charlie parker and Miles Davis play the definition of cool in the background.
This film in particular is just brilliant and is the model of a great film.
