My favorite film! --identify so much with Ellie Arroway! (lost my father in 1980, and until then, he was instrumental in helping my locate alternative ways of being in this universe! --I'd love to travel through wormholes and see my father again! --more importantly, he'd see me as an adult.
... Yes; I suspect there's other life throughout the universe! --indeed, "limited fork theory" which hopes for some form of connection with anything that exists or existed or that ever can exist on any scale in any location hopes to connect with some forms of existence somewhere, anywhere.
Jodie Foster was excellent in this tim, but then again, I'm biased... Absolutely love it! --and absolutely love my father....
