Review of Certified Copy (2010) by Gabo A — 04 Jul 2012
Now this is cinema, from one of its greatest living masters : Abbas K. From Iran. This, his first ever foray outside of Iran ( not counting his doc ABC Africa) and in another language, is by all measures excellent and worthy of all the accolades it's received at Cannes.
It's a grown ups version of before sunrise and a great addition to the rather limited and sparse genre of Intellectual romantic comedy. We need more films like this.
