All Cannibal films are pretty dumb. This is no different. This film so badly wants to be Cannibal Holocaust but it fails miserably. All the ingredients are here. Lost in the jungle, bulling the locals, unnecessary animal cruelty and finally the locals revenge.
Dont get me wrong there are some stand out moments of eye watering gut munching. But if you have seen Cannibal Holocaust I suppose any other Cannibal film is going to seem a little docile.
