This is one of my favorites. The greatness will escape you if you don't understand the kind of motherly love exhibited by Swoosie Kurtz's character, the determination shown by Bubble Boy to follow his heart, or all the ridiculous plot mechanisms that come together in the end.
How can there be so many haters out there for such a light-hearted romp?
