Review of Brainstorm (1983) by Esteban B — 02 May 2008
Well worth the view. This film sparked my following of the futuristic sci-fi genere. Keeping in mind this film made its debut just before the growth of the technology in America (1983), no home computers or cell phones yet.
.. drove home the idea of an advanced piece of technology racing through development and marketing...scientific knowlege and understanding takes a back seat to corporate greed and agenda. This film was indeed ahead of its time.
It saw it all before it happened.
