Review of Brainstorm (1983) by Frank M — 28 Jun 2010
Remarkably monumental. Unfortunately, this fascinating sci-fi from the early '80s has been forgotten. The way that characters would be taken for the ride of their lives simply by wearing a helmet that lets them see and feel the emotions of others was phenominally gripping.
Like 2001: A Space Odyssey and James Camerons' Avatar, this was a major stepping stone in making movies look way ahead of their times.
