Review of Blow-Up (1966) by Mark A — 17 Feb 2008
One of my favorite movies of all time. A maniacal photographer runs around 1960's London (Mod Subculture in full bloom) and accidentally photographs what may or may not be a murder. Dave Hemmings plays the photographer and even though he doesn't say much, he is fascinating to watch.
The film is fairly abstract in the sense that it juxatoposes what is real and what appears to be not real. A real thinking persons film; This is Michelangelo Antonioni's masterpiece!
