Review of Annie Hall (1977) by Harry W — 16 Aug 2013
Woody Allen's most memorable and iconic gift to cinematic history. Annie Hall is a perfect comedic and romantic film. Neurosis has never been this entertaining.
The chemistry between Diane Keaton and Woody Allen is so strong that one can't help but believe that this film really is a sort of melancholy Valentine to Diane Keaton. Most often, it feels as if Diane Keaton is not acting as much as she is being herself which only illustrates what an amazing screen actor she is.
This is Exceptional Film Making 101.
Not to be missed.
