Such a great underrated gem. Definitely one of the greatest horror films of 2013 and no doubt the most original. In a world filled with cliched horror movies, we need more like "American Mary".
It's crazy, insane, extremely well-told and executed. A tale about body modification with some nice gruesome operation scenes. With it's twisted and original premise like a modernized "Frankenstein" for our generation, there is a ton of disturbing material that will please any horror fan.
Most others won't understand the point. If you want to step outside of the box and see something new, this is for you. One of my all-time favorite horror flicks and sure to be a cult classic.
