A great film,Meadows brings us a great piece of social realism (moreso than Dead Man's Shoes) wrapped up in a great,intrigueing and very novel story with some memorable characters and Considine again provoking two reactions at once from the audience.
Also, you find it hard to not talk like Morell for about a week.
