A good film by Meadows but it is clear that at this stage in his career, he was still searching for his style; there are examples of his style coming to the fore in certain parts in the film. You find yourself wanting more tension and drama; but when they do come to the forefront of Meadows picture, it makes for a much more interesting film experience.
