Review of A Man and a Woman (1966) by Leslie O — 05 Aug 2008
It was very sweet light hearted movie. I felt like I was taken into the two character's private thoughts with very little narration. Youâ??ll witness a new relationship develop from pure coincidence and when they least seem to be expecting it (arenâ??t they lucky!).
The movie is very original, their story seems a tiny bit unrealistic since they had very odd/rare things in common non the less it was believable.. definitely not cheesy and predictable like most romantic movies now a days.
The movie is in French which is just plain cool specially for a romantic movie. I love when the man (jean-louis) is driving to her and starts to plan how things are going to go when he sees her..... ok I better not spoil the movie but it shows that in their relationship (like in most) the best way is to just go with the flow.
Very cute.
