Review of Werckmeister Harmonies (2001) by Tim H — 01 Mar 2009
A tough, glacially paced film, but one with very rich rewards. The opening and ending scenes are worth it though, just by themselves. I'd suspect this film would only get better with multiple viewings, and wouldn't be surprised if this ends up on critics list as one of the best films of the decade.
