Truly a gem. THANK YOU for telling this desperate yet hopeful and terrifying story of the clashing intersection of courage and corruption. In a year of great documentaries, Virunga should be at the top of the list.
Filled with heroes and villains, at the heart is the dwindling habitat of the Virunga Park and the mountain gorillas caught between war and corporate interests. Terrifically well made. Bravo, for putting the world in a bit of perspective.
Hopefully we'll all inspired to be activists in some small way.
