Review of Trap for Cinderella (2013) by Peter C — 16 Jul 2013
"She'll never love you the way you want her to. It's not in her nature. Listen to me." So quoth the manipulative personal assistant of a wealthy fashion icon to the life-long friend and wannabe lover of said icon's niece.
A murderous plot ensues, the result of which is one dead body and one badly burned young woman whose identity is unknown and whose memory is erased by amnesia. Who died, who survived and who gives a St Francis? That's the rub in this moody, erotically-charged, plot-twister which, although watchable, suffers from style over substance and a severe case of "okay, we get it, just cut to the chase-itis".
2 (going on 3) out of 5.
