What a beautiful, thought provoking little film this is. It's so much more than a horror film. Even though the murders are extremely gory, there's an undercurrent of emotion and drama that makes them so much more powerful than your typical slasher film. The performances are wonderful and the direction is stylish, effortlessly supporting the very strong script.
The Ugly is a chilling, disturbing, and emotional masterpiece of dramatic horror.
A must see for everyone, horror fans and non-horror fans alike!
