A sweet little story with all the right ingredients - beautifully (okay, AMAZINGLY) drawn with a soothing almost hynoptic soundtrack playing overhead. You can't deny Shinkai Makoto's knack for storytelling.
The story which appears ordinary enough from the beginning, but yet each succeeding scene leaves you wanting a little more... fantastic cinematography and animation. The only drawback - this was THE product of a very very long wait from Mr Shinkai after his amazing one-man production of hoshi no koe on his mac.
Alas, with great expectation...
