Review of The Place Promised in Our Early Days (2004) by Peter H — 22 May 2009
Although slow and difficult to stay interested in towards the beginning, this was probably the most gorgeous animated film I've ever seen! The story was interesting but really didn't go too in depth.
It was more like they were dropping words like, "quantum" or "dimensions" and expected it to catch the viewer's attention. It was rather enjoyable, however, that the story slowly unraveled and you got to get see the characters grow a little.
Definitely watch this if you have a higher appreciation for artistic impression in Anime.
