Review of The God Who Wasn't There (2005) by Daniel Q — 14 Aug 2009
On a referential level it gives us the "facts" about the naive way Christians think. How the Christ symbols are just a variations on many other earlier deities and their sons.
On an implicit level you may find the pathology behind some atheist need to rebel and prove that they are right. In some parts of the documentary I sense the film-makers frustration and hate towards is Christian upbringing and I never really feel that he gets any real relief in the end.
I learned lots in this movie about some atheist thought and feelings. Fascinating movie for believers and non believers.
