The Beat Beneath My Feet is a sublimely inspiring musical film with good tunes, fantastic performances, and a heart like a lion. Talented newcomer Nicholas Galitzine exceeds expectations, both with his acting as well as with his singing.

90210 heartthrob Luke Perry proves that he still has the chops with his committed performance as a faded rock star tortured by the past. The film also features strikingly surreal music transitions that brilliantly serve as metaphors for what is happening in the film's plot.

All in all, The Beat Beneath My Feat soars as a toe-tapping, feel-good flick!
