Unoriginal, poorly directed slasher film that was right at the cusp of the slasher film craze. You would think this being one of the earlier ones that it would shy away from being compared to other, better films. It doesn't and it isn't.
There are some absolutely hysterical costumes and a scene (at a funeral!) where one girl says "Melissa, I don't know why you're such a nasty b***h"...when Melissa turns to run away the same girl says "Wait, don't go...why are you so mad?" No joke...two minutes later the same girl is saying "Melissa is so misunderstood...people need to give her a chance". For scenes like that...it's sorta worth it. Sorta.
An AMAZING title song...AMAZING :).
