Review of Snow Cake (2006) by Manan I — 01 Aug 2007
An excellent film dealing with an illness in a way that isn't too preachy or melodramatic and incorparating the themes of chance, loss and hope I cannot fault anything from acting tour de force performances from Rickman, Weaver and Moore down to the beautiful original score by Broken Social Scene.
Its a shame this film didn't make more of an impact because it deserves to be seen by everyone and I really want to play comic book scrabble as well.
