"Dazlious!".
The real beauty of this film is in the fleshed-out richness of the characters. It works because you're taken in by Vivienne's love of life, by Alex's debilitating guilt and by Maggie's subtle sexuality. Credit superb writing (Angela Pell) and performances (Emily Hampshire, Alan Rickman & Carrie-Anne Moss).
