Work of crazed genius by a visionary film director. You know how in great films you have two or three moments of outstanding brilliance? In this film, try ten or fifteen. The elephant funeral, the ghosts in the graveyard, the arm severing, the murder of the tattooed lady, the Day of the Dead ? it just goes on and on, spectacle after outrageous spectacle.
