Review of Paper Heart (2009) by Amanda S — 06 Jan 2010
It is rare that I love a film enough to watch it the next day or buy the DVD. this is one of those films. one of the most original yet realistic films I have ever seen. This film like I said is the first of it's kind.
it gathers a unique soundtrack, unique acting, definately unique writing, and even almost creates an entirely new genre(but I think it's been done before). it's also pretty funny and powerful at the same time.
the little paper doll scenes are unlike anything I've ever seen except in music videos. it combined Juno (not just cus some of the same actors are in it) with a deathcab music video and of course there is also the documentary aspect.
so the question is...how do we label this movie? mocudocumentary?
