I think this is Antonioni's best film...but I haven't seen all his films just yet. Alain Delon is seductive as ever, and Monica Vitti's laugh is fantastic. I loved the scene with the hopping dog.
The montage at the end is perhaps the most mysterious cinematic ending. A wealth of inspiration in black and white imagery.
